GEWIS accounts

Member account (m account)

An AD member account (m-account) is an account that can be used to use a lot of different services. For most active GEWIS members, this will be the only account you use to access all of these:

• GEWIS computers
  • Physically
  • Remote desktop

• Email (https://webmail.gewis.nl)
  
• Ticket system (https://support.gewis.nl)
• Image management (https://pkg.gewis.nl)
  
• Portainer (https://docker.gewis.nl)
• Zabbix (https://status.gewis.nl)
• VM Management (https://xoa.gewis.nl)
• MySQL databases (https://mysql.gewis.nl)
• Postgres databases (https://phppgadmin.gewis.nl)
• GEWIS GSuite accounts (https://drive.google.com/a/gewis.nl)
  GSuite is integrated with our AD accounts, which means your password needs to be synced to Google the first time you change your password. Because of that, you aren't able to sign in if you did not change your pw before.

Website accounts

Upon becoming a member, everybody is invited to create an account on the GEWIS website. Using this account, it is possible to sign in to the GEWIS website. This gives access to for example the photo archive, the exam archive, SuSOS and activity registration.

Members that don't have an account can create an account using their membership number and email address on the GEWIS website.
